What if teaching reading & writing
could be, dare I say… easy?
What if all these obstacles disappeared?
“I have little to no curriculum.”
“The curriculum I have is too wordy and hard to understand.”
“I really don’t know how to fit everything in!”
“My team doesn’t collaborate.”
“I’m extremely overwhelmed with everything I have to grade.”
“My students are unmotivated and disengaged.”
You are not alone.
There are thousands and thousands of overworked, overwhelmed teachers out there who want desperately to support their students.
But…they lack the resources, time and community to reach their goals.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
There is an answer…a way to
make your life oh so much easier.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if I’m not happy with my membership?
Not a problem! You can cancel at any time.
Will we be using specific standards?
Yes, the curriculum units will follow the 6-8th Grade English Common Core Standards AND Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.
Will we cover grammar?
Some grammar will be covered. Information about how to use mentor sentences and how to confer with students about grammar topics will be discussed during live Q&A sessions.
Will there be a Facebook Group?
There will not be a Facebook Group offered until members hit the 6 month mark. Then they will be invited to join the VIP Members Facebook Group.
What if I don’t teach 6th-8th Grade?
The curriculum is definitely adaptable to different grade levels. You can always try it out for a month, see how easy it is to adapt to your grade level and decide if you want to continue or cancel the next month! It’s important for you to do what is best for you and your students.
What if I teach multiple grade levels? Will this work for me?
The beautiful thing about workshop is that it’s adaptable based on the books you recommend students read and the skills you cover in your mini lessons. This membership includes monthly collaboration sessions where we can discuss how to make the units work for multiple grade levels!
Is the curriculum appropriate for gifted students? What about students who struggle or are far behind?
I think workshop is THE BEST program for gifted students and students who struggle. Here’s why…the books you put into the hands of students and the mini lessons (reading and writing) you teach can be adapted based on the level of students you have in front of you. Also, if you join we can collaborate during our monthly sessions about how to meet the variety of student needs.
